We’re paying for our own ads
In an effort to reach as many Democratic voters in New York Assembly District 37B, I have been deliberating with my New Reformers ticket-mate Melissa Bieri if, and how, we should advertise. Mailers were out of our budget and with Covid-19 restrictions, random lit-drops seemed wasteful. So we’ve decided to run a digital ad campaign.
One of the rules of political advertising is that you must state who is funding the ad campaign. Make no mistake, this is a really good rule that allows any of us to look up what organizations are underwriting which candidates. Since we are self-funding our campaigns, as the headline states, we’re paying for the ads ourselves. And as such, if you’ve reached this page via one of our digital ads, we want you to know, that:
